12. అప్పుడు రాజును యెహోయాదాయును యెహోవా మందిరపు పనిచేయువారికి దానినిచ్చి, యెహోవా మందిరమును బాగుచేయుటకై కాసెవారిని వడ్లవారిని, యెహోవా మందిరమును బలపరచుటకు ఇనుపపని యిత్తడిపని చేయువారిని కూలికి కుదిర్చిరి.

12. తరువాత రాజైన యోవాషు, యెహోయాదా ఆ ధనాన్ని ఆలయ పునరుద్ధరణకు పనిచేస్తున్న పనివారికి చెల్లించారు. ఆలయపు పనిలో నిమగ్నమైన వారు నిపుణులైన కొయ్యచెక్కడపు (నగిషీ) పనివారిని, వడ్రంగులను ఆలయ పునరుద్ధరణకై కిరాయికి నియమించారు. ఆలయ పునరుద్ధరణ పనికి ఇనుము, కంచు పనులలో మంచి అనుభవం వున్నవారిని కూడా వారు కిరాయికి నియమించారు.
